- life isn't fair; bad things happen to good people.
- during my really hard time, a stranger sent me this:
Happiness is a journey, not a destination...for a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin--real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment you have and remember that time waits for no one.
39. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:**
Tamia - Smile:
So I put on my make up,
put a smile on my face,
and if anyone ask me,
"Everything is ok."I'm laughing cuz no one,
knows the joke is on me,
cuz I'm dyin' inside with my pride and a smile,
on my face.
Poison - Something to Believe In:
As the tears rolled down my face
I felt so cold and empty,
Like some lost soul out of place
And the mirror, mirror on the wall
See my smile, it fades again
Ah, give me something to believe in
If there's a Lord above
Give me something to believe in
Oh, Lord arise...
Sometimes I wished to God
I didn't know now
Things I didn't know then
Lord, you gotta take me home
Ryan Cabrera - On the Way Down:
I've been wondering why
It's only me
Have you always been inside
Waiting to breathe
It's alright
Sunlight
On my face
I wake up and yeah, I'm alive'cause on the way down
I saw you
And you saved me
From myself
And I won't forget
The way you loved me
On the way down
I almost fell right through
But I held onto you
I was so afraid
Of going under
But now
The weight of the world
Feels like nothing, no, nothing
