As far as I'm concerned, this is the best breakfast in town (Downtown LA). It's a bit of a drive from both my office and my house, but whenever I'm around the area, this is the place to grub.
On weekends, there is usually a 30 minute line. Here's a tip though: just walk on in and look for seats available at the counter; there's a good chance you'll find an open seat with no waiting.
To start things off, I get an order of their house coleslaw. You'd think that coleslaw would taste gross by itself...but there's something different about this coleslaw.

Next comes their awesome, perfectly toasted, golden-brown sourdough bread.

And then the crisp bacon, fresh scrambled eggs and a side of their house potatoes.

// shout out to Stan for showing me this place.
