yeah yeah, i've been neglecting my blog for the past several weeks. for those of you that are feeling mel my finger withdrawal, here's what i've been up to:

School

entrepeneurship class (EBZ306) was aight. i had the professor in the past and he knows i know my shit. finished with an A-.

internet law class (FRL410) was cool. class was mostly computer geeks like me, along with a nice ratio of girls. lotsa times our discussions went off track and bunch of us tech saavy guys ended up talking about the not-so-legal stuff we've done on the internet.

on a side note, the classroom's theromostat was broken, so the whole quarter we were freezing our asses off. (oh yeah, on another sidenote...god bless hard nipples.

) exams were easy and the 20 page research paper was a breeeeeeze. finished with an A.

finance class (FRL301) was a biaaaatch!! i retook the professor that completely and utterly failed me for the prerequisite finance class. the entire grading system was based on 3 exams. the first exam i got a 51%. :down: but hey, the class average was a 50%.

the class average for the 2nd exam was a 50% too...but this time i scored a 28%.

i know the professor curves at the end of the quarter, so basically i had one last chance -- the final exam. i studied my ass off and...

i got a 100%!! in your mouth, biaaaaatch!!!

volleyball class is always fun. my original volleyball coach was laid off so we ended up with the weight-lifting coach. my god, she has to be the buffest woman i've even met. i got pretty tight with her...but it wierded me out when she started saying things like "you have great arms."

these pathetic things??? here i am, standing in front of Ms. Weight-Lifting of OC, getting complimented for my arms.

she's cool though. finished with an A.

basketball class is always fun too...except this quarter, i sprained my ankle and i was out for 5 weeks. get this: i sprained my ankle walking to the gym to play basketball. walking. i stepped into a pot hole and totally jacked up my right ankle.

butt its all good because when i got back, my team, Monstars Part II, marched onwards to our second straight championship. Spring 2005 & Fall 2005 Champs, baby!! that brings me to a total of 13 seasons, 5 finals appearances and 4 championships for me.

so yeah, a very productive quarter...i'm officially left with 7 classes before i graduate!!

5-Year Highschool Reunion

i forgot to make a post about this...but i had my 5-year reunion at Webb in october. i hardly took any pics but it was really chill seeing a bunch of familiar faces again. seriously, a bunch of these faces i haven't seen since graduation (or should i say, the after-grad party). one highlight was getting drunk with the dean.

oh yeah, the night before, some of the guys got drunk and snuck onto campus, knocking on the doors of freshmen in the dorms.

wish i was there for that.

once again i maintained my straight A's and B's.

the crappy nights in my crappy apartment are finally over with. i'm finally living in the village with a buncha montecito crew OGs.

for phoebe's birthday, chin hooked us up with tickets for disneyland.

towards the end of august, some of the saudi crew was back in the states so we had a little saudi shindig at my place.

beginning of september, the highlight of my summer, was eating white castle julie's wedding.

last weekend, mike and i decided to road trip over to arizona to visit chelsea. maaaan, that was a long ass drive...but it was worth it. (sorry, we only managed to take a very few pics)

Hangin' with the Webb homies

The 17th was Walter's birthday so Joe, Jose, Stan and I went to visit his grave. I've seen Joe and Stan a few times the past few months, but I hadn't seen Jose in like a year and a half. The last time I saw him was in Santa Monica and it was the first time I played beer pong. Hell, it was the first time I ever got drunk off beer!! Ah man, those were good times.

We were all chillin' in the memorial park, catchin' up on old times and then Stan felt it was time to smoke out. It was chill but then all of a sudden Walter's parents showed up.

Its funny when you watch a stoner try to act all sober while talking to parents.

It was a chill afternoon to bond with the fellas.

It wasn't long enough

I didn't really have a spring break this year. Cal Poly and Mt. Sac's breaks were off-set so when everyone went out, I was left behind with a couple classes and an exam @ Mt. Sac. It's all good though cuz I had a lot of me time to myself...you know, catch up on reading and stuff.

After my exam @ Mt. Sac, I headed home and chilled with family the rest of the break. My parents are still in town cuz pops has to continue his radiation treatment for a few more weeks.

The ever elusive trip to Disneyland

Man, one thing about breaks is its always the best time to do stuff...but its also the hardest to organize because everyone's home doing their own thing. All I wanted was to have a magical afternoon with Elisa, Joyce and Meliss.

First we planned to go on Tuesday, butt that got shut down cuz of rain up the ass. Then we tried to plan it for Saturday and that didn't work out either.

All I want is my first time to be special.

Back into Cal Poly??

Well, spring quarter starts @ Cal Poly tomorrow and technically I'm still not a student. I managed to pull of a B- in my Managerial Finance class, which is okay. I really wanted at least a solid B butt I couldn't help it....the professor and the girl next to me were too distracting.

Right now I have a C+ in Accounting (Mt. Sac), so tomorrow I'm gonna go talk to the advisor chick. Hopefully this time around, things will go well.

Counting my blessings...

early monday afternoon, stan (high school buddy) and i decided to visit our fallen homie, walter cooley. (kinda stupid how i thought up of visiting him....it was martin luther king day...and walter is my brother of another color...anyways...) so i was driving like 90 mph on the 210W...there was a minivan ahead of me, tailgating a hot yellow mitsubishi lancer...we were all kinda tailgaiting, actually...

anyways we were just talking and driving...then i notice the lancer swerving left and right a bit...

and then he swerves across all four lanes, all the way from the fast lane to the slow lane...then the dude spins out and swerves back @ 90 mph towards the fast lane...

"oh my god"

BAM!!!!!! just 30 ft ahead of us, the lancer totally crashes into the concrete divider...

i never would've thought that cars could bounce off of concrete like that...

oh, and for the record, i didn't poo myself this time.

Week 3 of being on the pill...

my (very round, very sexy) body is finally adjusting to my pills...i'm finally noticing some differences...but strangely, its not my attention span that getting the most significant change...its my emotions.

i realized that my emotions are like a rollercoaster...and its always the little things that can set me off...the little things can make me really happy but they can just as easily piss me off and make me all emo (that's short for "emotional"...usually in a depressing kind of emotion). with the pill, i'm not so emo anymore...

i was bored the other night so i looked up Strattera online and i found one guy describe it as the "i don't give a fuck about the little things anymore" pill...

that's so true...

i dug around some more and i found that (although not officially approved by the FCC for this) Strattera can be used to treat depression.

whoa cool...i can definitely say that i feel more content these days...even despite some of the drama in my life right now...butt anyways, i feel happier these days...

oh, and speaking of "happy"...i am happy as fuck to say that Woody is baaaaaaaack!!!!!

oh man, i used to think how annoying it was to have morning wood...but after two weeks of impotence...i've never been happier.

Smelly Guy moving out...

i just find out yesterday that infamous Smelly Guy is leaving me!!!?! he's checking out of the apartment on sunday and transferring to Sacramento.

its wierd...kinda happy...kinda sad....(kinda fucked up on my part, i know)...things are gonna be different without him.

kinda sad because he's made some improvement...he switched body washes to Suave's Cucumber Melon (which isn't exactly the most masculine body wash out there, but hey, he smells a lot better).

so yeah, he's leaving...it'll be better for him though...cuz back in NorCal he'll have his homies, his car, family and gf. i wish him the best.

I went to the Boat (a kick-ass thai restaurant) yesterday with Melissa (Le). I'm a regular there and the waiters thought I was on a date so they hooked us up with some free boba smoothies.  And last time, when I went with Phoebe, they hooked me up with extra fried rice.
